The flag of the Civil Protection Service and the exceptional situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova by Decision no. 1107 of 30.09.2008 Official monitor N 187-188/1142 от 17.10.2008 and represents the distinctive sign of this organization.
The flag represents, the most steady and holy symbol of the service, which individualizes and differentiates it from the other organizations and services, manifesting the source of pride and inspiration of the whole service.
The flag of the Civil Protection Service and exceptional situations is made up of a rectangular canvas (2 x 3) blue-azur, carrying in the middle the emblem of the service. The flag of the service exists in two forms: the original flag and the usual flag.
The original flag
The original flag is made in a single copy, with the dimensions of 1000 x 1500 mm, and contains the following exterior decorations and mandatory accessories:
- golden fringes on the perimeter of the canvas, except for the side of the hammer that festive with gold thread;
- two golden strings caught by the tip of Hampei and finished with tassels of the same material;
- a tricolor ribbon in the colors of the state flag of the Republic of Moldova finished with golden fringes and connected to the top of Hampei;
- the hamp is made of dark red-colored wood, with a length 2.5 times larger than the height of the flag canvas, and the sole in metal;
- standard peak for the flags of the flags of the state institutions of the Republic of Moldova.

The usual flag
The usual flag of the Civil Protection Service and the exceptional situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs represents a rectangular (2x3) Blue-Azur canvas, wearing the large emblem of the Service in the middle. As a rule, he dresses on an ordinary hammer, to which a tricolor ribbon is linked in the colors of the state flag of the Republic of Moldova.
The flag of the service can appear on various postal shows, souvenirs, protocol objects, etc. And it can be used in official, festive, magazine, sports, cultural, scientific, in various actions and applications, as well as in other cases, with the permission of the head of the Service, or of the National Heraldic Commission of the Republic of Moldova, or for non -commercial purposes, with the permission of the authors.
in the case of flying or placing the flag of the service next to the state flag of the Republic of Moldova, the flag of the service is placed in a secondary position compared to it, to the right or below, and its linear dimensions do not exceed the dimensions of the state flag.

Emblem
The Civil Protection and Exceptional Situations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs represents in the blue-azur field a rose of winds with 16 golden rays, carrying in the heart the international symbol of civil protection: an equilateral blue triangle with the top up in an orange circle-, surrounded by two golden and five-rose. A silver -metal, badly ordered metal.

- in the official seals of his service and subdivisions;
- in the header of the official papers emanating from the official authorities of the service;
- on the headquarters, buildings and in service offices and other rooms belonging to the service;
- on mobile goods (vehicles, technique, armament, etc.) and buildings, as well as on other properties of the service;
- on different heraldic, vexilological, medal, faler and uniformistic signs for the subordinate system;
- on the documents of legitimizing the service collaborators;
- on the diplomas conferred by the service;
- on the polygraphic, photographic, film and electronic production of the service;
- on stamps, envelopes and other postal shows;
- on advertising, informative and other products executed at the command of the service;
- on various souvenirs and protocol objects;
- in other cases not unforeseen by this decision, with the permission of the head of the Service, of the National Commission of Heraldry of the Republic of Moldova or, for non -commercial purposes, with the permission of the authors.
