SAFETY SCHOOL
Safety School is an educational initiative of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, aimed at building a strong safety culture among the population of the Republic of Moldova and training citizens in prevention and response to emergency situations.
Mission
Through theoretical and practical activities, the School prepares children, youth and adults to recognize everyday risks, develop self-protection skills and adopt responsible behavior in the face of danger.
Main Objectives
- Developing a safety culture in the community
- Training in prevention and response measures during emergencies
- Raising awareness of risks (fires, earthquakes, floods, accidents)
- Building rapid and correct reaction skills
- Promoting a healthy and preventive lifestyle
- Informing about the role of IGSU in protecting lives and property
Activities Offered
Participants benefit from practical lessons and demonstrations on:
- correct use of the emergency number 112
- evacuation rules in case of fire
- behavior during earthquakes
- dangers of unsupervised swimming and careless use of fire
- first aid workshops
- evacuation and rescue simulations
- educational videos and thematic presentations
- guided tours to Botanica Fire and Rescue Detachment
- interactive games and activities for children and teenagers
