Meteorological warning - strong rains

According to the data of the State Hydrometeorological Service, on October 4, 2025, between 00.00 - 17.00, in several regions of the country there will be strong rains, with water accumulations of 15–30 l/m².

in this context, IGSU urges citizens to comply with the following recommendations, in order to prevent risk situations:

• in case of heavy rainfall, shelter in a building or vehicle located away from electric wires and trees that can fall.

• If you are in your home, close the windows and doors to prevent water from entering and disconnect the electrical appliances.

• Do not cross through the flooded areas, even if the water seems shallow.

• Drivers are asked to reduce speed in traffic, keep the safety distance between vehicles and avoid sudden braking.

• Aquatic basin management are urged to check the condition of dams and water exhaust systems and monitor them periodically during heavy rains, to prevent spill.

• People who live in slope areas are asked to avoid places at risk of landslide, not to park next to water or inclined trees and not approach these areas during rain.
