A man suffered burns following a fire in a parking lot in Chisinau

in the morning of December 15, 2025, firefighters from the capital intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out on the territory of an individual parking lot on Ginta Latină street 20, Chisinau municipality. The call to Service 112 was received at 10:08.

According to the information, an open flame was observed at an auxiliary construction with an area of ​​about 20 m², located on the territory of the parking lot.

Two teams of rescuers and firefighters were sent to the scene. When they arrived, they determined that the fire had engulfed the material goods inside the shed, there were no people inside.

The fire was located at 10:18 a. m. And completely extinguished at 11:21 a. m.
At the same time, as a result of the fire, the owner of the building, a 69-year-old man, suffered second-degree burns on the surface of his body. Later, he was picked up by the Emergency Medical Service and transported to the hospital for serious medical care.

The cause and circumstances of the fire are to be established by specialists.
