The intervention of the firemen at the Dante Alighieri Theoretical High School in the capital

in the morning of November 19, 2025, IGSU firefighters intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out on the territory of Dante Alighieri Theoretical High School on Ion Creangă street no. 80 from the municipality of Chisinau. The call to Service 112 was received at 08:41. According to the first information, an electrical transformer was engulfed in flames.

Three crews of rescuers and firefighters intervened on the scene. Upon arrival, the IGSU employees established that a short circuit occurred at the electrical transformer located in the canteen of the institution outside the high school. At the same time, the firefighters found that there is no danger for students and staff.

At the moment, the firefighters are on the scene for the complete liquidation of the outbreak and ensuring fire safety. All circumstances are to be determined later.
