IGSU employees supported the national afforestation campaign "Autumn 2025"
On November 15, 2025, the staff of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the MAI from all over the Republic actively participated in the national forest afforestation campaign "Autumn 2025", an integral part of the National Forest Extension and Rehabilitation Program, launched under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Moldova.
During the day, the rescuers and firefighters from all subdivisions of the institution in the north, center and south of the country were involved in tree planting, greening of land, cleaning of natural spaces and landscaping activities.
Thus, in the town of Donici, Orhei district, IGSU employees planted over 12,000 acacias. Similar activities took place in other districts of the country, including Drochia, Râșcani, Florești, Edineț, Ungheni, Cimișlia, Leova, etc.
With every sapling planted, the people who save lives every day have shown that a small effort can contribute to a safer and healthier future for future generations.
The initiative, intended to expand the national forest fund, contributes to the promotion of ecological culture and the protection of the environment. The IGSU staff annually supports the actions organized in support of local authorities.
The constant involvement of rescuers and firefighters in ecological actions promotes the values of solidarity and responsibility towards the environment and demonstrates that the safety of the community also begins with the protection of nature.
this year, the afforestation campaign in the Republic of Moldova takes place between November 15 and December 15. The "Autumn 2025" campaign aims to increase the forested area of the Republic of Moldova and represents the continuation of the national programs carried out annually, through which tens of thousands of saplings are planted in the districts of the country.
