IGSU employees continue training activities for students in educational institutions throughout the country

IGSU employees continue to carry out activities to prevent risk situations in educational institutions throughout the country. Their purpose is to increase the level of training of students and teaching staff, as well as drawing attention to the prevention of emergency situations.

between 18 and 24 September 2025, rescuers visited 67 institutions, training 9,658 students and 722 teachers. Also, in 57 schools, practical evacuation exercises were organized, involving 15,371 students, 1,048 teachers and 509 members of the auxiliary personnel.

Since the beginning of the school year, IGSU employees have continued the preventive activities, visiting 186 institutions and instructing 21,756 students and 1,808 teachers. The exhaust exercises were carried out in 114 institutions, involving 26,517 students, 1,958 teachers and 908 members of the auxiliary personnel.

The activities include theoretical and practical lessons, adapted to the age and level of training of the students. They learn to recognize the dangers, to alert the authorities correctly by the unique number 112 and to give first aid. The practical exhaust exercises simulate real situations, testing the rapid reaction and coordination between students, teachers and auxiliary staff.

Through these actions, IGSU aims to strengthen the preparation of educational institutions and develop the efficient reaction capacity of students and teachers in emergencies.
