IGSU conducts an interdepartmental exercise at the headquarters of ÚS "Premier Energy Distribution"
On November 21, 2025, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations organizes an interdepartmental exercise with forces in the field, held at the administrative headquarters of the ÎCS "Premier Energy Distribution", located at 4 Andrei Doga Street in the municipality of Chisinau.
The purpose of the exercise is to improve the cooperation mechanism between the IGSU subdivisions and the company's staff, in the context of practicing operational procedures and managing interventions to liquidate the consequences of exceptional situations.
According to the scenario, at 10:00 a. m., during the repair work carried out on the 8th floor of the building, an explosion occurs, as a result of a gas leak that occurred while checking some recently replaced elements in the boiler room area. The shock wave affects the adjacent areas, and on the 7th floor, inside the dispatch room, several people remain stuck under concrete elements.
The teams of rescuers and firefighters within the IGSU have the mission of locating the fire, conducting searches in the affected area, freeing people caught under construction elements and ensuring evacuation and providing first aid to victims. Also, during the exercise, IGSU employees collaborate with the civil protection formations within the company, in order to practice the common procedures for managing exceptional situations.
The activity is organized to improve cooperation, verify the correspondence of the information from the operational plans, evaluate the operability study and prepare the staff of the specialized intervention services, as well as the company's employees, for the correct reaction in risk situations.
Such exercises, organized systematically, include the following objectives: improving the cooperation mechanism between the employees of institutions, objectives or enterprises and the emergency services involved in the management of exceptional situations; verifying the applicability of the operative plan of the objective; practicing and evaluating departmental and inter-institutional interaction procedures to strengthen the operational intervention capacities of all trained structures.
These applications contribute to the formation of the skills of the company's employees and their training regarding the prompt and appropriate reaction in case of fire, using the means of primary intervention until the arrival of the IGSU intervention teams.
The interdepartmental exercise is part of the regular program of preparation and verification of IGSU's intervention capabilities and contributes to strengthening cooperation between the institutions responsible for managing exceptional situations. The applications demonstrate the importance of continuous training, the development of rapid reaction and the coordination of the intervention process between the competent structures and the personnel of the objectives and economic enterprises.
The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations continues to organize these exercises to increase the level of operational training and to ensure a prompt and efficient response in all emergency situations.
