Firefighters from Anenii Noi saved a man who was in danger of burning down in his own home

on the night of December 8, 2025, at 11:10 p. m., firefighters intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out in a house in the village of Floreni, Anenii Noi district.

A crew of rescuers and firefighters intervened on the scene. They found that the fire affected material goods in the kitchen and partly in the living room. During the intervention, rescuers evacuated a 72-year-old man from the home.

The owner, with signs of mild poisoning with combustion products, was taken over by the Emergency Medical Service and transported to the district hospital for intensive medical care.

following the investigations carried out by the IGSU employees, it was determined in advance that the fire was caused by the violation of safety rules when using the electric stove. There were easily flammable materials near the heating source, which favored the spread of the fire.

in this regard, the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations recommends citizens not to leave electrical installations and other heating sources unattended and to keep easily flammable materials away from them.
