The employees of the Căuşeni Regional Directorate of Exceptional Situations of IGSU are actively carrying out the national prevention campaign "Do you know what your child is doing at home now?".

Recently, rescuers and firefighters from Căuşeni organized prevention activities in the premises of the "Alexandru cel Bun" Gymnasium in Slobozia village, Ștefan Vodă district. Here, 270 students and 21 teachers participated in various lessons and interactive workshops on personal safety.
The activities included theoretical lessons for teaching staff and interactive sessions for students, during which they gained vital knowledge that, in an emergency, can save lives and prevent risky situations.
during the training, the IGSU employees told the children about the importance of observing personal safety rules in domestic conditions, in public places, but also about the appropriate behavior in case of exceptional situations. At the same time, the specialists showed the children the correct way to evacuate from the blocks or from the buildings of the educational institutions, in the event of a fire or an earthquake.
For a complex and effective approach to the campaign's messages, IGSU employees also conducted training with social workers from the Ștefan Vodă district, in order to strengthen efforts to prevent and protect children at risk.
Also, DRSE Căușeni employees held an informative-preventive session with employees of SRL "Conteyor MLD" from the city of Căușeni, where 94 people were trained on children's safety at home, measures to prevent risks in the cold season, as well as ways to react in emergency situations.
Through these actions, IGSU specialists promote the joint effort between institutions, schools, parents and the community, to contribute to the education of a generation that is responsible and aware of the dangers in the environment.
The national campaign "Do you know what your child is doing at home?" represents a broad risk awareness initiative, addressed to parents, teachers and the whole society, which will take place in all regions of the country. The activities will include a series of educational and interactive actions, aimed at minimizing the risks to which children are exposed, especially during the holidays.
The IGSU initiative of the MAI promotes a culture of safety among minors, families and communities in the Republic of Moldova.
