Aero-medical intervention SMURD Iasi - Chisinau

in the afternoon of October 20, 2025, a SMURD aero-medical crew performed an aerial intervention to transport a 45-year-old man, a citizen of the Republic of Moldova, from Iasi to Chisinau.

According to the recorded information, the man suffered polytrauma as a result of a road accident.

He was taken from Iasi and transported safely to Chisinau. Throughout the flight, the man was constantly monitored by SMURD doctors and paramedics.

The helicopter landed at the Dinamo stadium, from where the patient was picked up by the Aviasan medical team and transported to the Institute of Emergency Medicine for the following intensive care.

Since the beginning of 2025, this is the second SMURD aeromedical mission carried out for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
