Two people were released by rescuers following a traffic accident, produced on the afternoon of October 3, 2025, on the R34 Cantemir-Cahul route, near Ghioltosu village, Cantemir district.

The call to service 112 was received at 12:22. According to recorded information, a Volvo model truck and a Dacia Logan model car were front. As a result of the impact, three people in the car remained blocked between the beasts of the car.

Three crews of rescuers and firefighters were directed to the scene. Arriving, IGSU employees carried out works to unload the driver and passenger on the right, and the rear passenger was evacuated by the population until the crews arrived.

The injured persons, in a conscious state, were taken over by the medical crews and transported to the Cantemir District Hospital.
