Two people received carbon monoxide poisoning and the other died after some fires

Two people suffered carbon monoxide poisoning, and another lost their lives as a result of fires. The first case was registered in the afternoon of October 2, 2025 in a house in the village of Dămășcani, Rîșcani district. The call to service 112 was received at 18:45. Three firefighters and rescue crews were directed to the scene. Arriving, they established that they burn more material goods inside the house, but also its roof.

IGSU employees managed to liquidate the fire at 23:45, and the fire completely destroyed the material goods inside 8 rooms, but also 80% of the roof of the house with an area of ​​120 square meters.

following the fire, a 49 -year -old woman and her 28 -year -old son suffered carbon monoxide intoxication. Both people were taken over in serious condition by the emergency medical crew and transported to Rîșcani District Hospital, for specialized care.

Another fire was reported in a house in Chirca, Anenii Noi district. The call to the 112 Service was received on October 3, 2025 at 01:05. Three fire crews were directed to the scene. Arriving, they established that the flames fully encompassed the dwelling house with a surface of 35 m2.

during the liquidation of the fire, the firefighters were detected by the body of a man, who was supposed to have been intoxication with combustion products.

IGSU employees managed to liquidate the fire at 03:21.

The causes and circumstances of the fire production are to be established by specialists.

According to statistical data, 1373 fires were registered since the beginning of 2025, after which 78 people died.

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations urges the population to comply with the anti -demanding rules, in order to avoid the occurrence of risk situations.
