Official meeting between IGSU management and representatives of local public authorities in Poland in the framework of cooperation with Solidarity Fund PL
On October 24, 2025, in the premises of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the MAI, the official meeting between the leadership of the Inspectorate and representatives of local public authorities in Poland took place.
The event was organized in the context of sustainable cooperation between IGSU and Solidarity Fund Poland in the field of civil protection.
The event was attended by the head of IGSU, Colonel Aurel Baciu, Tomasz Horbowski, executive director of Solidarity Fund PL, representatives of local public authorities and volunteer firefighters from the Republic of Poland.
during the discussions, the parties highlighted the results achieved in the development of the national volunteer system, including the formation of volunteer firefighter positions and the training of IGSU specialists in Poland. At the same time, the constant support offered by the Polish partners through donations of special vehicles, equipment and technical assistance was noted, thus contributing to the strengthening of the capacities of the volunteer fire stations in the Republic of Moldova.
