Non-compliance with the rules when operating the stove caused a fire in Rîscani district

this night, the firefighters from the Rîscani district intervened to extinguish a fire in a house in the village of Aluniș. Arriving at the scene, the rescuers determined that the fire affected a room with an area of ​​16 m², which was completely destroyed by flames. Also, the roof of the 40 m² building was partially damaged.

Thanks to the operative intervention of the rescuers, the fire did not spread, and two rooms of the house were saved. No casualties were recorded.

following the preliminary investigations, it was established that the cause of the fire would be overheating of the stove.

in this sense, IGSU urges citizens to follow the safety rules when using stoves in the cold season:

Avoid overheating stoves and do not leave them unattended.

Clean chimneys regularly.

Do not light the fire with flammable liquids.

Keep flammable objects away from the heat source.

Extinguish the fire completely before sleeping or leaving.

Call specialists for the repair of damaged stoves.
