within the post, 10 volunteer firefighters will be active, ready to intervene promptly in case of fires or other exceptional situations, acting as the first line of response until the arrival of professional crews. The volunteers attended a specialized course organized by IGSU trainers, where they acquired practical skills in extinguishing fires, providing first aid and rescuing people following road accidents.
The new rescue and volunteer fire station will serve four localities in the Străseni and Ialoveni districts, including Scoreni, Nimoreni, Malcoci and Condrița.
Each of these localities is characterized by a different land specificity. Thus, Scoreni is located in a wooded area, Nimoreni on a plateau with orchards, Malcoci includes agricultural land, and Condrița includes forest land and protected areas. This diversity highlights the need for a post of volunteer rescuers and firefighters able to intervene effectively in emergency situations, regardless of local conditions.

currently, in the Republic of Moldova, there are 82 territorial posts of rescuers and firefighters, which significantly contribute to strengthening the capacities of primary intervention in risk situations, increasing the level of civil protection at the local and national level.
