Interdepartmental training of the National Laboratory Observation and Control Network – RNCOL 2025
between October 15-17, 2025, in the premises of the Republican Training Center of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the interdepartmental training of the National Laboratory Observation and Control Network (RNCOL-2025) was held with the generic "Algorithm of action of research laboratories and control of national research laboratories", radioactive, chemical and bacteriological in the environment surrounding".
The event was organized in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO) and brought together 22 representatives of the laboratories of the authorities and institutions responsible for the management and response in exceptional situations of a radioactive, biological and chemical nature.
During these three days of training, IGSU specialists worked with the experience of the National Agency for Public Health, the Environment Agency, the State Hydrometeorological Service, the Customs Service, the Environmental Protection Inspectorate, the Public Institution National Center for the Health and Safety of Animals, Plants and other Safety.
To ensure effective training, the first two days of the exercise were dedicated to theoretical lessons and presentations by each institution involved, discussing standard operating procedures and interdepartmental coordination.
on October 17, the participants carried out practical exercises in the field, where IGSU specialists and representatives of other authorities tested their response capabilities in case of a chemical emergency. In the applications, laboratory teams simulated chemical research missions, sample collection and transport, as well as technical and contaminated land decontamination procedures. At the same time, techniques for using personal protective equipment and special equipment for detecting dangerous substances were demonstrated.
Activities in the field also aimed at testing the methods of reception, sampling and delivery of samples, and their safe transport to the territorial laboratories within the national network.
At the end of the exercise, an evaluation session took place within the National Laboratory Observation and Control Network.
The RNCOL-2025 training took place in accordance with Government Decision no. 850/2024 regarding the preparatory measures in the field of civil protection of the Republic of Moldova for the year 2025.
