IGSU firefighters intervened according to the increased level at Vatra

in the morning of November 9, 2025, the firefighters intervened according to the increased level of intervention to liquidate a fire that broke out at a temporary home of an asphalt production company in the town of Vatra, 10 Feroviarilor street, Chisinau municipality.

The call to Service 112 was received at 07:36. Several rescue and fire crews were sent to the scene.

Arriving at the destination, the firefighters determined that the flames contained container-type houses, intended for the temporary housing of employees.

Until the arrival of the intervention teams, 15 people were evacuated from the affected building, with an area of ​​240 m².

To manage the situation, the General Staff was created on the spot. Eight technical units were trained to put out the flames, with a team of 30 rescuers and firefighters.

Thanks to the prompt and effective actions of the rescue teams, the fire did not spread, and a similar objective nearby, which was not affected by the fire, was protected. The fire was located at 08:02.

At 08:14, the increased intervention level was canceled and the fire was completely extinguished at 09:32. No casualties were reported.

The cause and circumstances of the fire are to be established by specialists.
