The IGSU firefighters extinguished the flames that engulfed a car service in the city of Briceni
on the night of October 22, 2025, firefighters from the north of the country were requested to intervene to extinguish a fire that broke out in the city of Briceni, on Krîlov Street 7.
The call to Service 112 was received at 02:16. Five IGSU intervention teams were sent to the scene.
Arriving at the destination, the rescuers established that the flames included a self-service with an area of 300 meters², built of sandwich panels, as well as an auto parts store near the main building.
The fire was extinguished at 04:34.
The fire destroyed approximately 80% of the area of the car service and approximately 70% of the area of the auto parts store.
as a result of the fire, four cars under repair burned completely, without the possibility of their evacuation. The owner of the unit managed to evacuate a Renault car, and the firemen evacuated an oxygen cylinder, thus preventing a possible explosion.
No one was hurt.
The cause and circumstances of the fire are to be established by specialists.
