IGSU continues training children for a prepared generation in risk situations

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the MAI activates safety values ​​among minors, aiming at the formation of a generation prepared to react correctly in risky situations.

During the following periods, more than 10,300 pupils, children and students, as well as 1,177 teaching staff, were trained on compliance with security rules and appropriate behavior in exceptional situations. IGSU employees conducted thematic training in schools, kindergartens and universities in the districts of Balti, UTA Găgăuzia, Anenii Noi, Străseni, Dubăsari, Rîșcani, Glodeni, Fălești, Sîngerei, Florești, Leova, Cimișlia, Cantemir, șeu, Oșcnița, Reseu, Ozinești Vodă, Briceni, Soroca, Edineț, Șoldănești, Drochia, Călărași and Basarabeasca, as well as in the municipality of Chișinău.
IGSU specialists organized interactive lessons for children of all ages, familiarizing them with fire prevention rules, first aid principles and safe behavior in public spaces and at home. At the same time, practical evacuation exercises took place in 55 educational units, in which 12,670 pupils, children and students and 1,092 teachers participated. The purpose of these exercises is to develop the skills of correct reaction in case of earthquake or fire, through calm, organized and efficient actions. Minors are guided by teachers and lifeguards, learning proper evacuation and self-defense steps.
Since the beginning of the school year, practical evacuation exercises have been carried out in 384 educational units, involving 83,491 pupils, children and students.
in total, IGSU employees organized safety lessons in 534 educational institutions, training 66,158 pupils, children and students, as well as 6,683 teachers.
Through these actions, IGSU contributes to increasing the level of training of the young generation and to the formation of a European security culture, essential elements for reducing risks and protecting life in exceptional situations.
