IGSU and the public association "Patrol Chaplain" will collaborate to provide moral and spiritual support to rescue and firefighters

in this sense, today, October 15, 2025, the management of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, represented by the colonel of the internal service Aurel Baciu had a meeting with the representatives of the public association "Patrol Chapel", during which the prospects of an institutional collaboration in the field of moral and spiritual support of the IGSU were discussed.
during the meeting, the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement was analyzed, in order to develop a sustainable partnership, based on mutual respect, professionalism and fundamental human values.
The partnership aims to develop common initiatives dedicated to firefighters, rescuers and families, in order to strengthen the emotional balance and the well-being of those who intervene daily for the safety of citizens, helping them to cope with stress, emotional pressure and professional challenges.
This collaboration supports those who, daily, intervene in risk situations to save lives and goods, contributing to the creation of a more balanced, more productive working environment.
The discussions focused on identifying directions of cooperation, including organizing activities of spiritual counseling and moral support, specialized training and personal development sessions, but also the initiation of team buildings and thematic camps.
The public association "Pencilians" in the Republic of Moldova is part of the international network United States Community Chaplains Association (USCA) - an organization that promotes professional standards in the Capelaneasca activity, the continuous training of specialists and the fundamental values of dignity, inclusion, equity and faith.
At the international level, the USCA collaborates with institutions for the law application, medical services, fire units and intervention structures in emergency situations, offering spiritual assistance and emotional support in difficult contexts.
IGSU reaffirms its commitment to promote the emotional well -being of the staff and to strengthen the interinstitutional relationships with partners dedicated to supporting people in the first line.
