Firefighters liquidated a vegetation fire in Ialoveni who took a woman's life

on the afternoon of September 10, 2025, the firefighters intervened to liquidate a dry vegetation fire in the village of Dănceni, Ialoveni district.

The call to service 112 was received at 1:24 pm. According to the first information, the flames included the dry vegetation near a household, affecting an area of ​​about 3 areas. Arriving at the scene, the rescuers evacuated the 63 -year -old household, who was trying to extinguish the fire with their own forces. Following the incident, the woman suffered burns of grade II and III on the surface of the body. It was taken over by the medical crew and urgently transported to the hospital for rigorous care. Subsequently, the woman died from the burns. 

following the research carried out, the probable cause of the fire would be the non -observance of the anti -centered rules during the sanitation works by burning the dry vegetation. Due to the strong wind, the fire rapidly expanded on the nearby lands.

in this sense, we warn the population not to use the open fire for cleaning agricultural land, households or spaces adjacent to housing.

We also ask the citizens to avoid igniting the dried vegetation, the household garbage, as well as the use of fire around the chains, forest spaces or leisure areas. Under high temperature conditions and low humidity, fire can spread on extended areas, endangering people's lives and material goods.
