Children’s Creativity Contest
“Risk Prevention through Children’s Eyes”
Description:
The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the territorial education structures of the Ministry of Education and Research, annually organizes the Children’s Creativity Contest on the topic “Risk Prevention through Children’s Eyes”.
The contest is held in educational institutions throughout the country, in three age categories (grades I–IV, V–IX and X–XII) and consists of two stages: local and national (final). Each participant may submit only one work, created using one of the following techniques: drawing, appliqué or modelling (mock-up).
The aim of the contest is to promote a culture of safety among children, familiarize them with the activity of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (GIES) and develop correct response skills in emergency situations. The event also contributes to strengthening cooperation between GIES and educational institutions.
