In order to assess the population’s preparedness for civil protection actions, civil protection exercises are organized and conducted.

Civil protection exercises represent the highest and most effective form of training for rescue, unblocking, and other emergency response actions in exceptional situations. They help improve the knowledge and skills of both management staff and the general population in the field of civil protection.

Throughout 2025, 8 civil protection exercises were organized and carried out in the following districts: Dubăsari, Hîncești, Cahul, Chișinău municipality, Ungheni, Fălești, Drochia, and the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia.
