Successful Completion of the National Contest
“Safety School for Children – Together We Reduce Risks”, 2025 Edition
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, through the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Research, announces the successful conclusion of the 7th edition of the national contest “Safety School for Children – Together We Reduce Risks”.
The event took place from 26–30 May 2025 across 9 regions of the Republic of Moldova and brought together 86 teams consisting of 1,032 pupils aged 15–17, including 12 children from Ukrainian refugee families.
The main objective was to develop skills in preventing and managing risk situations, improve preparedness for unpredictable emergencies, and foster civic awareness and patriotism among young people.

- Cahul / ATU Gagauzia – “112” team, “D. Cantemir” Theoretical Lyceum, Cantemir
- Hîncești – “Hyperion” team, “Mihai Eminescu” Theoretical Lyceum, Leova
- Soroca – “Matrix” team, “Petru Rareș” Theoretical Lyceum, Soroca
- Edineț – team from “Alexandr Pușkin” Theoretical Lyceum, Dondușeni
- Orhei – “Faraonii” team (“Aleco Russo” TL, Orhei) and “Stop-Fire” team (“A. Mateevici” TL, Șoldănești)
- Căușeni – team from “Ștefan cel Mare” Theoretical Lyceum, Taraclia village, Căușeni district
- Ungheni – “Impact” team, “Gh. Asachi” Theoretical Lyceum, Ungheni
Winning teams received cups, diplomas and book vouchers from Librarius bookstore; all participating teams were awarded participation diplomas.
Practical Workshops in the 2025 Edition
- Use of fire extinguishers
- Handling firefighting and climbing equipment
- First aid administration
- Road safety
- Behavior upon discovery of unexploded ordnance
- Prevention of risk situations and correct response procedures
